Shadowverse: Evolve has established itself as one of the strongest competitive TCGs on the market, with a deep gameplay system inherited from Cygames’ digital card game, stunning artwork, and a growing European community with every new release. But when it comes time to complete a deck or collection, one question keeps appearing across European communities:
Where can you find singles without relying on expensive Japanese imports?
Here’s the complete guide.
The Problem: A Major Game with a Fragmented Secondary Market
Unlike Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon, Shadowverse: Evolve has never had a truly dedicated European marketplace. Large general-purpose platforms either do not list the game at all or provide limited support.
As a result, European players often find themselves choosing between:
- Japanese imports: huge selection, but high shipping costs, delivery times measured in weeks, and unpredictable customs fees.
- Facebook groups and Discord servers: potential bargains, but no buyer protection, inconsistent condition grading, and disputes with no neutral mediator.
- Local game stores: essential for sealed products and organized play, but rarely equipped to offer a comprehensive inventory of singles for niche TCGs.
This is exactly the gap Kizuna aims to fill: a European marketplace where every Shadowverse: Evolve card has its own listing page, with offers from verified sellers that can be compared by price, condition, and language. Go through the whole Shadowverse Evolve stock
Buying Singles: The Method That Saves Hundreds of Euros
The math is simple and every experienced player knows it. Building a competitive deck through singles costs a fraction of what you would spend opening booster packs. Booster pack odds do not owe you anything; the singles market does.
The right approach:
- Start with a deck list. Identify the exact cards you need, including their set codes (the card code matters more than the name, as many cards exist in multiple versions).
- Compare by condition. For tournament play with sleeves, a Lightly Played card performs exactly the same as a Near Mint card at a lower cost. See the Card Condition Guide
- Check the language. Both Japanese and English cards circulate within Europe. Make sure the language matches what your local community or tournament organizers allow.
- Group purchases by seller. Ten cards from one seller means one shipment. On Kizuna, commission never applies to shipping costs, but real shipping fees can still be consolidated when purchasing from the same seller.
Understanding Shadowverse: Evolve Rarities
The game’s rarity structure is built around a playable core of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Legendary cards, supplemented by premium versions that drive collector demand:
- Foil versions of playable cards;
- Leader Cards and alternate versions of iconic Shadowverse characters;
- Special illustration cards (alternate artwork and collaboration cards), printed in limited quantities and representing the top end of the market.
As with many Japanese TCGs, the same card may exist in three or four different versions with dramatically different prices. On Kizuna, every listing clearly identifies the card’s rarity and version, and sets can be browsed individually to help collectors complete their collections methodically.
How Much Do Cards Cost? Pricing Benchmarks
A few general pricing benchmarks for the European Shadowverse: Evolve singles market:
- Playable commons and uncommons: often just a few cents each, this is where buying singles dramatically outperforms opening boosters.
- Playable Legendary cards: from a few euros to around twenty euros for key staples in the current metagame.
- Premium versions and alternate-art cards: from several dozen euros to several hundred euros for the most iconic and sought-after cards.
The number one factor influencing the price of a competitive card is the metagame. A Legendary card that dominates tournaments commands a premium, then often declines once the metagame shifts. Competitive players should generally acquire staple cards from established archetypes early after a set release, before tournament results begin driving prices upward.
Buying with Confidence: What a Marketplace Changes
On Kizuna, every transaction takes place within a framework designed to protect both buyers and sellers:
- Verified and rated sellers: each seller’s review history is publicly visible.
- Standardized condition grading (MT / NM / LP / DM): the same criteria apply to everyone : no vague “good condition” descriptions open to interpretation.
- Secure payments: money does not change hands directly as it often does in social media groups.
- A team that understands the game: Kizuna was founded by a certified Bushiroad judge and official event organizer. Accurate card evaluation is not a marketing slogan, it is part of the company’s expertise.
