Kizuna runs no advertising and no audience measurement. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracker of any kind. Nothing on this site follows you anywhere else, and nothing about your browsing is sold or shared for marketing purposes. The only measurement is a set of anonymous daily totals kept on our server, with no cookie and nothing that identifies you.
That is why you are not asked to accept cookies. Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary; the site sets none.
The cookie we do set
- Name —
kzv2sid, set by kizuna.setsunacards.fr itself. - Purpose — keeps you signed in, keeps your basket, and remembers the destination country used to price shipping.
- Lifetime — up to 30 days, so that closing the browser does not sign you out; it ends earlier after 14 days without a visit, or when you sign out.
- Contents — a random identifier and nothing else. No personal data is stored in the cookie itself.
It is marked HttpOnly (unreadable by scripts),
Secure (never sent unencrypted) and SameSite=Lax.
Without it you cannot sign in or place an order, which is precisely what makes
it strictly necessary.
What our payment provider sets
On the payment page only, Kizuna loads Stripe's payment library. Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention — they let Stripe tell a genuine buyer from an automated card-testing attack. They are not used for advertising. Stripe's own privacy documentation describes them at stripe.com/privacy.
Stripe's library is not loaded anywhere else on the site. Browsing the catalogue, reading a seller's page or building a wantlist involves no third party at all.
Other third-party requests
Two features fetch files from outside the site. They set no cookies, but they do reveal your IP address to the provider, which is worth stating plainly:
- The card scanner downloads a recognition model from Hugging Face the first time you use it. The model then runs entirely in your browser — the photographs you take are never uploaded.
- Two-factor authentication setup downloads a QR-code generator from a public code repository, once, when you display the setup screen.
Neither is loaded unless you open the feature that needs it.
Local storage
The scanner and a few forms keep working state in your browser's session storage so a refresh does not lose your place. It is cleared when you close the tab, it never leaves your device, and it is not a cookie.
Controlling this
Every browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking kzv2sid will
sign you out and empty your basket, but you can still browse the catalogue.
